MIGA-2021

Alpha Industries Limited’s Top Choco chocolate product line is Ghana’s confectionery product of the year 2020. This was announced at the 8th annual Made-in-Ghana Awards event in Accra.

According to the organizers, the award, like others awarded to deserving businesses on the night, is designed to celebrate outstanding brands and organizations that have a proven track record of quality, efficiency, and dependability.

On behalf of the company, Mr. Jade Skaf, Director of Alpha Industries Limited, characterized the award as a validation of his firm’s ongoing commitment to research and product quality assurance.

He also stated that, as a staunch believer in the country’s economic potential, the prize has given him even more reason to continue investing in local raw resources, such as cocoa, which is the brand’s mainstay.

The brand was honored alongside 33 other organizations, including individuals, for their excellent contributions to the economy across industries in the year 2020.

This year’s ceremony, graced by the Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister, Mohammed Awal as the Guest of Honour, was titled ‘Building Ghanaian Brands to Compete on Global Market.’

Mr. Awal urged the winners to be internationally competitive, which he highlighted would need a constant track record of performance and honesty.

He congratulated the awardees on their contributions to the country’s growth and development through high-quality goods and services, job creation, and other vital areas of the economy.

The US Ambassador, Stephanie Sullivan, congratulated the prize recipients in a video message shared with the attendees on the night, for their work in rebuilding an economy devastated by Covid-19.
